The Wabbit's Famous Adventure Caffè

Eataly was busy enough - but the team knew they'd always get a place in the restaurant. The Wabbit didn't like being famous particularly, but he glanced around and no-one was looking their way. He grinned. Customers were all looking somewhere else, exactly as he liked it. Skratch loomed from the rear. "Hey, Wabsworth. What was that for a sort of adventure?" Wabsworth nodded. "I think hey is for horses!" Skratch's sense of humour needed tuning. "Very funny. And you Wabbit?" The Wabbit gazed at Lapinette. "Over to you, Lap." Lapinette bounced. "I'd say that monsters reflect the anxiety of the age, but that would be trite." Wabsworth shook his head. "Sea monsters in particular have gravitas. And the more scales, the more substance they possess. Space is empty but the sea is full." Skratch meaowed long and hard. "Full of what?" Wabsworth laughed. "Full of dire disturbance, dominance and doom." The Wabbit thought they were going too far. Lapinette felt it too, "You forget about the surface of the water." "The breaking" added the Wabbit. "The emerging," continued Lapinette. "The unconscious breaks through into consciousness," grinned the Wabbit, "and it brings a kind of enlightenment. The shadow comes alive and recognition haunts the earth, bringing realisation. Things will never be the same." Skratch purred quietly. "Being dragged below the surface is another matter. Some say it gives nourishment to the soul." The Wabbit gave way to an enormous smile. "Speaking of nourishment, I feel the need of a prosecco." They linked their arms and forged a path to the restaurant.
